Chief of Staff to the CTO

About the role

The Chief of Staff to the CTO acts as a senior leader within the Tech organization, owning complex, cross-functional problems that sit between teams. This role involves framing ambiguous challenges into clear decisions, driving engineering strategy, and ensuring alignment across the Tech leadership team. You will report directly to the CTO and play a critical role in scaling the organization as it grows.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic, cross-organization initiatives such as platform programs, reliability improvements, and technical debt reduction.
• Lead the Tech planning cycle, including capacity management and OKR definition.
• Design and manage the Tech leadership operating system, including meetings, QBRs, and decision logs.
• Drive internal and operational communications across the engineering organization.
• Build the business and technical case for major infrastructure or compliance shifts.
