About the role

Checkout.com is seeking an early-career engineer to join the Finance Technology team with a focus on Workday Adaptive Planning. The role involves configuring and maintaining planning models, managing data integrations, and supporting financial processes such as budgeting and forecasting. You will work independently on well-defined tasks while receiving support from senior engineers for complex design decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Adaptive Planning models, dimensions, versions, levels, accounts, sheets, reports, dashboards, and planning workflows.
  • Build and support data loads and integrations between Adaptive Planning, Workday Financials, Workday HCM, and other internal or third-party systems.
  • Maintain data mappings, transformation rules, validation checks, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Monitor scheduled loads and integration tasks, investigate failures, and resolve common data or configuration issues.
  • Triage incidents and service requests, identifying root causes and escalating complex issues.
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into system configuration, reporting, or integration changes.
  • Follow change-control, access-management, data-quality, and audit requirements relevant to financial systems.
  • Create clear documentation, support guides, data dictionaries, and integration runbooks.
