Tech Lead - Platform

About the role

Pelico is seeking a Tech Lead to own a platform capability cluster, building the frameworks and tools that enable other engineering squads to deploy factory applications. You will lead a squad, define roadmaps, and ensure the platform scales effectively by turning customer patterns into reusable capabilities. This role requires a hands-on leader who builds infrastructure that other engineers rely on to solve complex industrial manufacturing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Build the substrate, including frameworks, SPIs, runtimes, or AI tooling that other squads depend on.
• Own the product roadmap, consumer contracts, adoption metrics, and deprecation policies for your capability cluster.
• Author technical specifications and establish evaluation gates to ensure agent-authored code is trustworthy.
• Identify recurring customer patterns and transform them into scalable platform capabilities.
• Write load-bearing code, pair with engineers, and mentor the team to raise the overall craft.
