Automation Engineer

About the role

CMBlu Energy is transitioning from a research-focused start-up to a manufacturing scale-up, developing SolidFlow battery technology for global energy storage. This role focuses on the standardization, programming, and operation of automation systems for test benches to support the company's growth into series production.

Responsibilities

• Drive the standardization and structuring of PLC projects
• Develop, program, and commission automation projects for test benches
• Manage the development and compliance of functional safety at test benches according to ISO 13849
• Analyze errors, troubleshoot, and ensure stable system operation
• Document systems, processes, and architectures
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for PLC test benches and automate development processes
