Junior Product Owner

About the role

The Junior Product Owner will support the product team in Berlin by translating requirements into actionable epics, user stories, and tickets. This delivery-focused role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the development process runs smoothly and that product priorities are clearly communicated. You will play a key role in maintaining the backlog and ensuring that delivered functionality meets agreed-upon standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Management team in refining product requirements and translating PRDs into implementation-ready epics, user stories and tickets.
• Maintain and order the backlog according to priorities set by product leadership.
• Participate in meetings to clarify product requirements with development, design and delivery teams.
• Support the two-week delivery cycle by ensuring development teams have necessary information and decisions.
• Identify and escalate missing requirements, dependencies, and blockers.
• Collaborate with QA to communicate priorities, clarify acceptance criteria, and support defect triage.
• Support the BI team by translating product questions and KPIs into clear data requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date product documentation in Jira and Confluence.
