Manager, Engineering - Identity

About the role

Camunda is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for the Identity and Access Management foundation of the Camunda 8 platform. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of IAM components, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and well-integrated across the stack. This role involves coaching a team of engineers and partnering with product, design, and sales to drive the technical vision of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of reusable IAM components across the Camunda 8 stack.
• Partner with engineering teams, SREs, QA, and Product Leadership to drive technical and product vision.
• Manage the roadmap and track commitments from support, incidents, and the product backlog.
• Improve reliability and efficiency by maintaining stable build/release pipelines and meeting security SLOs.
• Grow and coach a team of senior and developing engineers in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Mature the SaaS offering to ensure seamless integration with customer IAM solutions.
