About the role
The student assistant will support the design, implementation, and monitoring of public strategies and measures for climate-friendly shipping and ports. This role involves working closely with maritime industry stakeholders, conducting market and environmental analyses, and assisting with project management and communication tasks. The position offers insight into the intersection of politics, administration, industry, and science within the transport transition.
Responsibilities
- Support market, potential, and environmental analyses and the evaluation of technology options and business models.
- Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the National Action Plan for Climate-Friendly Shipping.
- Support procurement procedures and the content-related supervision of external contracts.
- Provide technical advice to clients regarding the development of regulations and standards for alternative ship propulsion and fuels.
- Assist in the design and implementation of funding measures.
- Support networking activities with authorities, industry, science, and associations, as well as communication and public relations tasks.

Qualifications
