About the role
The Pricing Data Science & Automation Manager will lead a team of data scientists and analysts within the Global Pricing team to drive revenue and margin improvements. This role involves bridging the gap between complex analytical modeling and practical commercial decision-making. You will develop automated pricing tools, oversee demand forecasting and price optimization models, and mentor team members to deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Find where margin is being lost across discounts, rebates and trade investments.
- Help the business make better product-price-pack and portfolio choices across DIY, DIFM and B2B channels.
- Develop and deploy models for elasticity, demand forecasting, willingness to pay, price sensitivity, scenarios and price optimisation.
- Turn recurring work into repeatable tools and design automation for price changes, analysis, reporting and decision support.
- Lead and develop your analytical team, encouraging commercial curiosity and innovation.
- Partner with Pricing, Sales, Finance and Marketing to influence senior stakeholders and connect analytical findings to commercial decisions.
