About the role
The Scientific Assistant supports the Vice President International and University Development in Berlin by coordinating international academic partnerships, teaching collaborations, and strategic initiatives. This role serves as an interface between the Vice President, academic faculties, and international partner institutions to ensure effective project management and strategic development. The position combines academic research, organizational support, and the preparation of decision-making materials.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate ongoing international teaching collaborations and communicate with academic partners
- Support the development and implementation of international academic projects and institutional strategies
- Conduct research, benchmarking, and analysis on international higher education and relevant developments
- Provide academic and organizational support to the Vice President in day-to-day activities
- Maintain project documentation and monitor deadlines across international projects
- Prepare briefings, presentations, and decision-making materials for the Vice President
