About the role

Physical Superintelligence is building AI systems to discover new physics at scale and is seeking engineers to develop platform infrastructure. This role focuses on the intersection of computational science, AI systems, and software engineering to industrialize scientific discovery. Candidates will take full ownership of systems from specification to deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain platform infrastructure spanning distributed systems, data infrastructure, and agent systems.
• Develop high-performance computing and scientific computing solutions.
• Manage developer platforms, product engineering, and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement security protocols and maintain system reliability through on-call rotations.
• Design and ship substantive engineering work with full ownership from specification to production.
