About the role
The Vendor Management Senior Analyst will help build and support a strategic sourcing and vendor management program to maximize value and manage third-party risk. This role involves collaborating across the company to support procurement efforts, including contract negotiation, RFP management, and process creation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can drive efficiency in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Support Marqeta’s strategic sourcing and vendor management vision, processes, and tools.
- Provide support in procurement activities, including contract negotiation, administration, and coordination with legal, compliance, security, and finance teams.
- Monitor performance metrics for the procurement program and vendor performance, suggesting improvements and escalating critical issues.
- Identify and drive opportunities to optimize sourcing and vendor management processes.
- Conduct savings analyses and modeling to prioritize procurement opportunities and track results.
- Identify and assess vendor risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.
