Principal Product Designer

About the role

AutogenAI is looking for a Principal Product Designer to shape the future of their AI-powered bid and proposal platform. You will define how teams interact with autonomous agents, own the experience of key platform areas, and mentor the design team. This is a hands-on individual contributor role that requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Engineering leads to frame user problems and influence the product roadmap.
• Design intuitive interfaces for human-AI collaboration, including review, override, and audit workflows.
• Develop trust patterns such as source verification and confidence indicators to ensure transparency.
• Manage complex, multi-step user journeys from discovery to production-ready UI.
• Lead the evolution of the design system to ensure a coherent experience across AI-assisted features.
• Conduct user research with bid teams to connect design decisions to measurable outcomes.
• Mentor designers and contribute to the overall design culture at the company.
