Tax & Finance Operations Intern

About the role

Taxforce is a Berlin-based startup aiming to modernize tax advisory for healthcare professionals through AI-powered automation. As an intern, you will work directly with the founders to support operational tax work, internal controlling, and bookkeeping. You will gain hands-on experience in financial processes while contributing to the development of automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of invoicing and support funds and cashflow management
• Support the monthly internal bookkeeping and financial close
• Build and maintain reporting and controlling analyses
• Prepare ongoing financial accounting including receipt capture, booking, and account reconciliation
• Prepare annual financial statement packages and business analyses
• Provide input on tax returns and pre-filings at a draft level
• Support digital mail and tax assessment processing through deadline control and document classification
• Test and document internal tools and workflows to contribute to task automation
