About the role

The Senior Cloud Operations Engineer will ensure the security, reliability, availability, and performance of cloud and datacenter infrastructure. This role involves supporting business-critical production systems across Windows, Linux, AWS, and VMware environments. The successful candidate will monitor infrastructure, resolve incidents, and contribute to operational process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, monitor, and support a production infrastructure environment
  • Administration of AWS environment and resources
  • Support multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity
  • Follow defined procedures to monitor systems and resolve issues
  • Analyze and report on operational metrics to understand performance and ensure success in process improvements
  • Manage DNS, FTP, IIS, and Application environments
  • Participate in an On-Call rotation
  • Communicate events to stakeholders, teams, and leadership
  • Work with cabling, racking, and other tasks in Physical Data Centers
  • Create user accounts in IAM and other user management resources
  • Update Production Server Resources and Sizing
  • Support and troubleshoot medium to complex technical issues
