Software Engineer Team Lead

About the role

The Software Engineer Team Lead will join the Global Automation team to lead a cross-functional group in building scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions. This role involves partnering with internal stakeholders to develop applications, APIs, and ETL pipelines while providing technical leadership and architectural guidance. The lead will also focus on coaching and mentoring engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers, driving delivery of high-impact solutions.
• Implement and promote Agile practices, ensuring effective planning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on development in Python.
• Build scalable, reusable, testable, and secure software applications, APIs, and ETL pipelines.
• Coach and mentor engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, and career development.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Participate in hiring and foster a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
