About the role

As a Research Engineer, you will work hands-on with real-time medical imaging systems, focusing on ultrasound and data streaming. You will contribute to the development, integration, and testing of solutions that connect software with imaging systems and hardware. This role involves writing and debugging code, testing integrations directly on hardware, and solving technical challenges at the intersection of software, imaging, and real-time data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and test software for real-time medical imaging and ultrasound applications.
  • Work hands-on with ultrasound systems, tracking devices and other imaging hardware in our Munich office.
  • Implement and troubleshoot real-time data and image streaming solutions.
  • Develop and debug C++ components for system and hardware integrations.
  • Test software directly on imaging systems and identify and resolve integration issues.
  • Collaborate closely with our engineers and research scientists on new imaging solutions.
  • Support the transfer of new methods and prototypes into robust, working software solutions.
