Senior Innovation Consultant - EU Projects

About the role

PNO Innovation is seeking a Senior Consultant to join their European Grants team in France. The role involves advising innovative organizations on funding strategies and leading the development of complex grant applications for major R&D and industrial projects. You will manage client relationships, analyze project potential, and craft compelling proposals for European funding programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of complex European funding applications under programmes such as Horizon Europe, Innovation Fund, LIFE and CEF.
• Assess R&D and innovation projects, identify funding opportunities and advise clients on strategy.
• Structure compelling project narratives covering excellence, innovation, impact, implementation and European added value.
• Interview senior client stakeholders, scientists, and technical experts to extract information for proposals.
• Coordinate the complete proposal development process, including work plans, consortium inputs, budgets, and quality reviews.
• Manage client relationships independently and act as a trusted advisor.
• Review and improve proposals prepared by other consultants.
• Support the development of junior consultants and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a scientific, engineering, technical, economic or innovation related discipline
