About the role

Nebius is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical expertise across the acquisition and development lifecycle of data center infrastructure. This role involves evaluating electrical feasibility, utility interconnection, and equipment strategy to support the company's global AI cloud platform. You will help build technical standards and evaluation processes while ensuring all projects are technically sound before commercial commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering evaluation of prospective sites, colocation capacity, and build-to-suit opportunities.
  • Assess utility interconnection, on-site generation, and redundancy strategies against site conditions and load requirements.
  • Define power distribution topology and redundancy strategy in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Establish electrical technical readiness criteria and verify design assumptions before project handoff.
  • Coordinate with consulting engineers, utility providers, and equipment vendors to validate electrical strategies.
  • Identify and resolve electrical technical risks before they impact construction.
