Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will build software directly with and for customers to solve complex integration and workflow challenges. You will sit with customer teams to scope problems, design and deploy end-to-end solutions, and operate them in production. This role bridges the gap between custom customer requirements and the core REMATIQ platform, requiring both strong software engineering skills and the ability to manage customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Scope technical requirements with customer project teams and subject-matter experts.
• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end solutions including backend services, integrations, and AI workflows.
• Operate solutions in production, troubleshoot issues, and serve as the primary technical contact for customers.
• Build integrations between REMATIQ and existing customer development and quality systems.
• Collaborate with the platform team to transition custom solutions into core product features.
• Identify and scope new use cases during customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer shipping production software
