Senior Security Analyst

About the role

Abby Care is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to strengthen security operations, threat detection, and risk management. This role involves leading incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring across cloud, endpoint, and identity infrastructure. The successful candidate will mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement of the company's security posture.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end incident response, threat hunting, and root cause analysis across SIEM, EDR, and cloud security tooling.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, runbooks, and tabletop exercises.
• Own the vulnerability management lifecycle and maintain the risk register.
• Conduct third-party and vendor risk assessments and communicate technical risks to business stakeholders.
• Audit and enforce security controls across identity and endpoint infrastructure.
• Drive evidence collection and remediation for compliance audits including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
• Automate detection, response, and reporting workflows via SOAR, scripting, and APIs.
• Establish guardrails and acceptable-use policies for enterprise AI tools and mitigate AI-specific vulnerabilities.

Qualifications
