Lead Software Engineer

About the role

The Lead Software Engineer will design, build, and ship full-stack features while taking ownership of complex technical problems. This role combines hands-on coding with technical leadership, including driving architecture decisions and collaborating with product management to ensure reliable and scalable solutions. The engineer will work within a distributed team to power technical interview and assessment products globally.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new full-stack features in collaboration with product and design teams.
• Use AI coding assistants and agents to accelerate delivery and automate repetitive tasks.
• Contribute to architectural and technical design decisions.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality through code reviews.
• Deploy and monitor features in production environments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Partner with product and other teams to scope, prioritise, and deliver impactful work.

Qualifications
