About the role
The Exploration Company is developing innovative aerospace technologies, including the Nyx modular and reusable space orbital vehicle. As a Propulsion Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the test and analysis of future propulsion systems to support the company's mission of advancing space transportation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute tests at the engine and component level to evaluate hardware performance.
- Develop test plans, objectives, and schedules while leading daily test operations and generating reports.
- Lead risk assessment analyses and define mitigation actions to ensure safety during test campaigns.
- Interpret P&IDs and generate test sequences while balancing test bench and article limits.
- Collaborate with development, AIT, and external teams to support test operations.
- Process test data to guide current and future test campaigns.
- Define and update test procedures and guidelines to improve operations.
- Prepare technical documentation including procedures, reports, and performance analyses.
