About the role
syte is a growing PropTech startup that provides AI-powered software for real estate development and investment decisions. We are looking for a Senior Computer Vision / Photogrammetry Engineer to help us advance our digital twin platform from current building models to textured LoD3-level precision. You will work on scaling 3D reconstruction methods across millions of buildings using diverse geospatial data sources.
Responsibilities
- Combine 2D cadastral data, LiDAR point clouds, and aerial imagery to create accurate real-world representations.
- Improve 3D models using modern reconstruction techniques such as Multi-View Stereo and Gaussian Splatting.
- Texture models from aerial imagery and identify architectural elements like windows and doors for precise surface calculations.
- Implement methods like Multi-Image Super-Resolution and occlusion-aware reconstruction to enhance image quality.
- Scale reconstruction methods from small datasets to millions of buildings in collaboration with data engineers.
- Utilize AI-coding tools to identify and develop new use cases in computer vision and 3D reconstruction.
