About the role
Lead an engineering team that partners with major silicon companies to optimize Ubuntu for the latest IoT and server-class hardware. This role involves managing technical relationships, facilitating project delivery, and developing a team of distributed engineers. You will work across the full Linux stack to ensure high-quality integration and performance on upcoming hardware platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of distributed engineers to design and implement Ubuntu integration for IoT and server-class hardware.
- Engage with commercial partners to deliver optimized Ubuntu experiences on their platforms.
- Develop team members through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
- Oversee commercial engagements and ensure timely delivery on project milestones.
- Ensure commitment to strict quality and reliability standards.
- Engage with internal teams to ensure alignment on product architecture and roadmaps.
