TransPerfect is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their global TechOps team to focus on the development, quality, and execution of software products. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to build and maintain efficient, scalable code and APIs while collaborating across functions to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Engage in all phases of application development, with a focus on coding and debugging in alignment with security standards throughout the entire lifecycle
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code/APIs to support applications both for web and mobile
- Collaborate regularly in a cross-functional team to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address issues
- Optimize web applications for performance, scalability and security
- Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and protect against potential threats
- Develop automation tests and collaborate with automation engineers to ensure business needs are met
- Work closely with users to provide personalized software support as needed
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve backend infrastructure
- Document application support and operational procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
