About the role

TES is seeking a QHSE Engineer for a project based at the Dégrad-des-Cannes thermal power plant in French Guiana. The role involves overseeing HSE requirements, managing site safety, and ensuring environmental compliance during industrial equipment assembly and deconstruction activities. You will support the Site Director in relations with authorities and ensure the application of safety and environmental policies across the project.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with contractual HSE requirements and client safety management standards.
• Propose KPIs and mechanisms to facilitate adequate working conditions.
• Participate in project follow-up meetings and draft meeting minutes.
• Maintain project safety and environmental dashboards and monitor action plans.
• Prepare and conduct safety briefings, inductions, and training sessions.
• Provide operational support for risk analysis, prevention plans, and accident investigations.
• Guarantee site fire safety organization and emergency evacuation drills.
• Liaise with entities responsible for environmental impact studies and ICPE permitting procedures.

Qualifications
