Realtime Analytics and Controls Developer

About the role

The Realtime Analytics and Controls Developer will manage the mission control panel for a massive global trading system. This role involves providing clear, real-time visibility into trading strategy performance and implementing critical control mechanisms for trading operations. You will work closely with front office teams to design and maintain high-performance software that supports efficient decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with internal users about their needs and ideas.
• Understand workflows of all teams involved in trading.
• Design, implement and maintain software, including ingestion mechanisms, internal frameworks, and in-memory query engines.
• Present data in a clear, useful, and accurate way in collaboration with frontend developers.
• Maintain calculation of trading metrics.
• Build software that can reliably run 24/7.
• Participate in the on-call rota.
