Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

Harmattan AI is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronic boards and embedded systems for UAVs, including flight controllers and companion computers. The role involves defining system architecture, managing complex schematic and routing designs, and ensuring seamless integration with mechanical and GNC departments. You will work in a demanding environment focused on delivering mission-critical autonomous defense systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the architecture and design the physical and electrical integration of complex systems based on processors, fast memory, and peripherals.
• Design and develop electronic schematics and perform board placement and routing while managing fast signal constraints.
• Collaborate with the Mechanical Department to ensure seamless physical integration of boards into the final product.
• Work with the GNC Department to ensure accurate and effective sensor integration.
• Address and resolve EMC challenges while ensuring signal integrity.
• Identify and resolve issues in electrical and electronic boards through effective troubleshooting.
• Conduct testing, integration, and performance validation of electronic boards to meet operational and design requirements.
