About the role

Doctrine is seeking an intern to support the internationalization of its legal decision upload feature. The intern will develop a review application for legal professionals and migrate existing legacy processes to a unified international standard. This role involves collaborating with international teams and the legal department to improve data processing efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a minimal application for the review and validation of legal decisions uploaded by users.
  • Migrate the legacy French upload process to a new, internationalized common process.
  • Improve the decision review application to assist legal teams in processing high volumes of content.
  • Apply OCR techniques to documents to facilitate validation.
  • Utilize LLMs to detect decision attributes such as jurisdiction and legal domain.
  • Assist in the removal of non-essential content from documents.
