Senior Finance Manager

About the role

This is a hands-on Senior Finance Manager role within a fast-growing FCA-regulated payments business. You will lead a team of two, own the monthly close process, ensure balance sheet integrity, and design scalable financial processes to support the company's rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end timetable and prepare monthly management accounts packs.
• Review journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and resolve reconciling items promptly.
• Design and implement new financial processes and controls across the transactional cycle.
• Identify and automate manual efforts to improve scalability.
• Support the Financial Controller with VAT, year-end, and audit requirements.
• Line manage, coach, and develop a Management Accountant and an Assistant Management Accountant.
