Content Engineer, Developer Relations

About the role

This role is responsible for evangelizing the Harness AI platform by designing and building practical, realistic use cases that solve actual problems for developers and DevOps practitioners. You will own the end-to-end process of creating technical content, including concept development, execution, and production, to demonstrate how Harness capabilities integrate into real-world workflows. The position requires strong technical judgment to identify meaningful use cases and the ability to produce high-quality technical content that resonates with a practitioner audience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build practical, realistic use cases inside the Harness platform that address real-world developer and DevOps challenges.
• Produce end-to-end technical content, including concept, execution, and final delivery across video and writing formats.
• Operate your own recording and capture sessions, both remote and in-person, with technical practitioners and Field CTOs.
• Evangelize specific Harness AI capabilities by mapping them directly to practitioner workflows rather than feature lists.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Product Marketing to ensure technical substance and messaging alignment.
• Pitch and pilot new content formats and hooks based on performance data and audience engagement metrics.
