Senior Finance Manager

About the role

Numan is seeking an experienced, audit-trained finance professional to oversee month-end close, financial control, finance operations, and statutory reporting. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial data, managing external audits, and improving finance processes to support the company's growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Finance to strengthen the control environment and partner with teams across the business.

Responsibilities

• Own the year-end audit and statutory accounts and serve as the primary contact for auditors.
• Manage the month-end close process to ensure speed and accuracy as the business scales.
• Develop and implement a robust controls framework and address audit recommendations.
• Improve and automate finance processes using AI and systems to reduce manual tasks.
• Collaborate with the FP&A team and wider business to integrate controls into purchasing and spending.
• Oversee finance operations including invoice processing, banking, cash forecasting, VAT, corporation tax, and R&D claims.

Qualifications
