Senior Software Engineer (Mobile / React Native)

About the role

Berlitz is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build the mobile client for their next-generation global online learning platform. You will take end-to-end ownership of the mobile app, including design, development, and distribution to the App Store and Google Play. This role involves working in an agile, AI-assisted environment on a greenfield project with no legacy debt.

Responsibilities

• Design and build learner-facing features in React Native and Expo.
• Manage the mobile app architecture, including navigation and state management.
• Own the mobile release process from code to store submission.
• Integrate the mobile CI/CD pipeline using EAS Build and GitHub Actions.
• Utilize AI coding tools like Claude Code to maximize development speed and quality.
• Champion best practices for type safety, testing, and accessibility.
