QA Analyst

About the role

As a QA Analyst, you will support the quality, reliability, and performance of Varicent's Incentives application. You will be responsible for identifying issues, contributing to process improvements, and ensuring a seamless user experience while working under the guidance of senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual testing to validate new features and bug fixes.
• Validates API responses and tests database interactions to ensure system reliability.
• Identifies and reports defects, providing clear and detailed information.
• Identifies, documents, and prioritizes bugs in JIRA or similar tools.
• Re-tests fixed defects and performs regression testing before releases.
• Works with QA and development peers to analyze technical problems and escalates problems to leads.
• Contributes to refining the QA process by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.
