About the role
The Vehicle Integration Technician builds, installs, tests, and repairs the hardware used to retrofit industrial vehicles with Hive autonomy systems. This role involves working closely with integration engineers to turn engineering designs into safe, repeatable installations.
Responsibilities
- Assemble wiring harnesses, electrical cabinets, cables, and connector systems.
- Install sensors, compute hardware, controllers, actuators, brackets, and wiring on vehicles.
- Perform crimping, connector assembly, soldering, wiring, labeling, and mechanical installation.
- Read and follow electrical schematics, harness drawings, BOMs, and installation procedures.
- Perform continuity, insulation, voltage, power, CAN connectivity, and functional checks.
- Support machine bring-up, commissioning, debugging, and acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot installation problems and assist engineers with root-cause analysis.
- Perform field repairs, engineering changes, and electrical or mechanical rework.

Qualifications
