Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer - Project Delivery & Implementation

About the role

Cuculus is seeking a hands-on senior engineer to design, build, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud and infrastructure environments for customer projects. The role involves owning the delivery of customer environments from architecture through to production readiness and handover, while also providing specialist expertise for critical technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and services across AWS, Azure, or equivalent platforms.
• Implement version-controlled Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and develop reusable modules.
• Deploy and manage OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms including networking, storage, and security configurations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Bash.
• Apply security, compliance, and governance requirements across all infrastructure layers.
• Assess and support infrastructure migrations and troubleshoot complex deployment issues.
• Develop technical standards, architecture records, and operational documentation.
