Senior Business Analyst – Financial Crime Compliance & Market Conduct

About the role

Capco is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead the strategic transformation of Financial Crime Compliance and Market Conduct & Trade Surveillance capabilities. The role involves working at the intersection of compliance, business, technology, and data to shape target states, assess current capabilities, and translate objectives into actionable transformation roadmaps. You will facilitate cross-functional decision-making and provide clear recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business definition of strategic target states and ensure alignment across Compliance, Technology, Architecture and Data.
• Assess current capabilities and conduct gap analyses across processes, organisation, systems, architecture, data quality and governance.
• Define business and technology requirements and develop relevant use cases to improve data quality and automate alert handling.
• Translate target states into structured multi-year transformation roadmaps, defining priorities, milestones, and investment considerations.
• Facilitate cross-functional decision-making and prepare concise recommendations for senior management.
• Define measurable transformation outcomes and success criteria to ensure control effectiveness and operational scalability.
• Ensure traceability from regulatory, policy and control objectives through business requirements and implementation outcomes.
