Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will champion deployment architecture and drive platform maturity within the engineering team. This role involves optimizing day-to-day delivery across the on-premise estate while acting as the key stakeholder for the rollout of a new Kubernetes platform. You will have autonomy over CI/CD pipelines, automated guardrails, and migration strategies to ensure rapid and safe code delivery.

Responsibilities

• Utilise and contribute to Ansible-based deployment automation to facilitate product feature releases.
• Monitor application-level health and collaborate on incident response and post-mortems.
• Maintain documentation, deployment runbooks, and developer self-service guides.
• Collaborate with TechOps to shape engineering self-service workflows, guardrails, and standards.
• Establish CI/CD workflows for Kubernetes-based deployments with automated guardrails.
• Partner with engineering teams to containerise and migrate existing workloads to Kubernetes.
