Senior sustainability advisor

About the role

Watershed is seeking an experienced sustainability professional to join their advisory team as a strategic partner to enterprise customers. You will lead engagements focused on decarbonization planning, climate target setting, and regulatory reporting while collaborating with internal product and go-to-market teams. This role requires deep expertise in corporate sustainability and the ability to provide actionable guidance to C-suite leaders at major global organizations.

Responsibilities

• Advise sustainability leaders at leading companies on advancing their sustainability programs.
• Independently lead strategic engagements across target setting, decarbonization, environmental impact management, and reporting.
• Develop practical strategies and build business cases for sustainability initiatives.
• Stay ahead of emerging frameworks, regulations, and market developments to provide actionable guidance.
• Prototype new products and services to expand the company's impact at the intersection of sustainability and technology.
• Contribute to thought leadership, customer-facing materials, and internal enablement.
