Head of Architecture

About the role

As Head of Architecture, you will shape the technology strategy and evolve a broad set of systems within a modern, containerised, event-driven architecture. You will lead a team of architects and guide engineering teams to ensure technical decisions align with business objectives while preparing for an AI-enabled future.

Responsibilities

• Build and drive a company-wide architecture strategy that supports business goals.
• Work with software engineering teams to ensure the strategy is understood and architectural decisions are made efficiently.
• Manage and develop a team of seven architects.
• Support the data and analytics department to ensure platform architecture alignment.
• Oversee a varied technology landscape of in-house software and third-party applications.
• Partner with technology and product leaders to connect architectural decisions to business outcomes.
• Influence TCO by aligning architectural decisions with business outcomes.
