About the role
The Industrialization team is responsible for transitioning robot prototypes into scalable, testable products for volume manufacturing. As an intern, you will bridge software and hardware by developing Python-based test routines for ANYmal subsystems and collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure quality control. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment focused on industrial robotics.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and help deploy Python-based automated test procedures for ANYmal hardware subsystems
- Instrument and control hardware devices, sensors, and cameras directly through software interfaces
- Collaborate with test technicians and manufacturing engineers to refine shopfloor testing workflows
- Learn to write clean, resilient, and reproducible code using established software engineering best practices
- Contribute directly to test documentation and technician procedures to ensure seamless shopfloor execution

Qualifications
