AI-First Analytics Engineer

About the role

Sport Alliance is seeking an Analytics Engineer to own the modelling layer that powers analytics, operations, and AI across their fitness business platforms. You will design scalable data models, ensure data quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business questions into maintainable data products. This role involves working within an AI-first team to build data infrastructure that is both human-readable and AI-ready.

Responsibilities

• Own the full journey from raw data to business impact including ingestion and dbt models on AWS.
• Design clean, scalable and reliable data models for both human and AI systems.
• Implement data quality through testing, documentation, lineage and governance.
• Partner with Data Engineering to ensure models are built on fresh, dependable data.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Finance to turn business questions into data products.
• Utilize AI-assisted tooling and ensure data is AI-ready for agents and ML models.
• Contribute to financial reporting for Finion Capital.
