Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Seccl is seeking a senior engineer to join their team for a 6-month contract to help build and operate scalable, maintainable software solutions. You will work within a cross-functional squad to design, implement, and maintain services, ensuring high standards of reliability and performance for their investment platform. This role requires a hands-on approach to the full software lifecycle, including architecture, delivery, and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively in a domain-aligned cross-functional squad.
• Design, implement, and operate services within your domain.
• Be accountable for the SLAs of your products and iterative improvements.
• Maintain and extend documentation for your services.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Provide guidance and mentorship for other engineers.
• Communicate with non-technical colleagues to answer queries about the system.
