Product Manager, Identity

About the role

The Product Manager for Identity will own the roadmap for systems that establish and verify customer identity, from sign-in through KYC clearance. This role involves balancing user experience, fraud risk, and regulatory requirements while managing authentication and identity verification flows. You will collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Engineering teams to drive onboarding conversion and maintain regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for authentication and identity verification, prioritizing across conversion, fraud/risk reduction, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive improvements to onboarding funnels, reducing drop-off in document capture and verification while maintaining or improving fraud and conversion rates.
• Manage and evaluate third-party KYC/IDV vendor relationships, including performance, cost, and regional coverage.
• Partner with Compliance and Legal to translate regulatory requirements into product specs and rollout plans.
• Work with Engineering to ship changes to authentication flows without introducing account-takeover or fraud exposure.
• Define and track funnel metrics.
• Represent Identity in cross-functional planning with Risk, Fraud, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders.
