Solutions Engineer

About the role

The Principal Presales Engineer / Solutions Architect will join the commercial organisation to help customers evaluate and adopt AI infrastructure solutions. This technical, customer-facing role involves partnering with account executives and engineering teams to support the full sales cycle, from discovery and technical qualification to solution design and onboarding. The successful candidate will translate complex GPU, AI, and cloud concepts into clear business value for prospective customers.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial team in qualifying customer opportunities and identifying technical requirements early in the sales process
• Deliver compelling product demos, technical presentations, workshops, and architecture sessions for prospective customers and partners
• Translate customer AI, HPC, and infrastructure requirements into clear solution designs using Nscale’s platform
• Develop and present solution proposals that align technical architecture with customer business outcomes
• Work closely with customers to understand workloads, deployment requirements, performance expectations, and scaling plans
• Build a strong working knowledge of Nscale’s infrastructure stack, GPU cloud platform, APIs, orchestration tooling, and deployment models
• Support proof of concepts, evaluations, onboarding projects, and technical validation activities
• Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic, scalable, and aligned with platform standards
• Provide guidance on compute, networking, storage, orchestration, and workload optimisation for AI and machine learning use cases
• Help create repeatable demo environments, technical playbooks, reference architectures, and sales enablement materials
• Act as a technical voice in the commercial organisation, helping shape how Nscale positions its solutions in the market
• Surface customer feedback, product gaps, and recurring technical objections to internal stakeholders
• Support RFQ, BOM, and technical proposal development where required for larger or more complex opportunities
