Software Engineer

About the role

Catapult is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join the Motorsport development team and contribute to the RaceWatch product suite. You will be responsible for developing new capabilities, focusing on specific racing series, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and a passion for sports to support elite-level organizers and competitors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of RaceWatch software for one or more motorsport series.
• Work with product managers and customers to design features and prioritise tasks.
• Identify ways to add innovative new features to the software.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Contribute to code quality, organization, and best practices throughout the development process.
• Maintain and enhance software reliability.
