Technical Lead, Observability

About the role

The Technical Lead for Observability will own the strategy, technical design, and rollout of observability across the entire H stack. This hands-on leadership role involves setting technical direction, building systems for metrics, logs, and traces, and ensuring internal teams adopt these standards to improve system visibility and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Set a unified observability strategy across all teams and technical stacks.
• Own the implementation of systems for managing metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards.
• Define SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs in collaboration with product, research, and infrastructure teams.
• Build end-to-end visibility of system dependencies and provide visualizations for users and agents.
• Automate the tracking of coverage, reliability, alert quality, and execution costs.
