Cybersecurity Management Consultant

About the role

The Cybersecurity Management Consultant will support clients in navigating complex regulatory requirements such as NIS2, DORA, and the EU AI Act by translating them into practical, operational processes. The role involves developing cybersecurity concepts, assessing existing structures to identify risks, and driving implementation projects while collaborating with IT, business, and compliance teams. You will present findings to stakeholders at all levels, including the board, and contribute to the internal development of the firm's cybersecurity practice.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in implementing regulatory and cybersecurity requirements and embedding them into daily operations
• Develop analyses, concepts, and target operating models for cybersecurity topics like digital identity management and AI security
• Lead projects or individual work packages depending on experience level
• Assess existing structures to identify risks and gaps and derive concrete implementation plans
• Collaborate with client-side IT, business, and compliance teams to develop sustainable solutions
• Present complex topics to expert and board-level audiences
• Contribute to internal initiatives, proposals, and the development of the Cybersecurity Practice

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration, business informatics, engineering, mathematics, natural sciences, or a comparable field
• At least two years of professional experience in a relevant environment, ideally in consulting or a strategic role
