Director Institutional Capital and Partnerships

About the role

The Director Institutional Capital and Partnerships is responsible for acquiring institutional clients and mandates with a focus on brown-to-green residential real estate. This role involves managing partnerships, securing institutional equity for real estate strategies, and acting as the primary contact for investors throughout the entire lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with transaction, asset management, and executive teams to align investor expectations with operational realities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with pension funds, insurance companies, foundations, family offices, and fund-of-funds.
• Manage the investor acquisition process from initial contact to contract closing.
• Develop and refine investor materials including pitch decks, track records, and investment memoranda.
• Coordinate investor due diligence processes, including RfPs, DDQs, and data room management.
• Negotiate commercial terms such as fee structures, co-investments, and governance requirements.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications
