Specialist, Software Engineer Guidewire Insurancenow

About the role

This role focuses on advancing and supporting Guidewire InsuranceNow solutions across critical policy management capabilities. The engineer will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable technology solutions while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve platform functionality and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, designs, configures, develops, tests, debugs, documents, and deploys Guidewire solutions according to standards in an agile environment.
• Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to help protect applications, integrations, and data from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling, and techniques to support build, deployment, testing, and release activities.
• Configures and enhances Guidewire workflows, rules, product model components, integrations, and supporting services.
• Develops and supports integrations using APIs, messaging, batch processes, and data exchange patterns across Guidewire and adjacent platforms.
• Troubleshoots defects, performance issues, and production support items and drives timely resolution with peers and partner teams.
• Partners with product, QA, architecture teams to clarify requirements and deliver workable, scalable solutions.
• Manages medium- to large-sized project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables proactively.
